You make lots and lots of acorns. :) Just the 1st stage... I need to clean them then electroform the copper tops.

Back in May, I had a large 1 inch piece of murrini slumped into a cabochon. I had traded with a fellow retreat attendee at the Missouri Bead Retreat. The cab size slumped to 1-1/4 inches so instead of ring, I decided to set it in a necklace. :)

A big shout to everyone who stopped by at Strange Folk this past weekend! I've always had fun at this show and it was great to see old and new friends. And thankfully, the rain held out!

Most of my inventory will be going to shops around the area, including Fusion, I Am What I Am and E.L Riley. A lot of it will be at Fusion though, so stop on by!

Next show will be the Tower Grove Fall Festival, Oct 22nd from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Strange Folk Festival

Strange Folk Festival is just a little over a week away! Hope you can join me over in O'Fallon, IL for the fun-filled event. I've always enjoyed doing this show and I'm crossing fingers for good weather. Cross your fingers too please. :)

Another Art Outside is in the books! I'm completely exhausted, yet somehow managed to grab some pad thai from my favorite place and eat dinner. But trust me, I promptly collapsed after that. Schlafly has always put together a well organized, fantastic event and Art Outside did not disappoint.

I want to send a big shout out to my friends Becky and Karla for helping me throughout the weekend. They helped me keep my sanity. :) In a day or two I'll share some pictures from the event, but in the meantime, I'm in a no-jewelry-mode for the next few days.

Just about a week and a half away from Art Outside, a three-day-long juried alternative art fair that I'm excited to be in! Come and show your support for local art and local beer. But I may be drinking wine... and eating a cupcake. Please don't hold it against me.
